Time to Update Your Lexidrug Mobile App Code

Subscription codes for the Lexidrug app (formerly Lexicomp) expire yearly at the end of August. To continue using the app, you must add the new authorization code to your account. Go to Lexidrug and click on the Mobile App Access button. Select your platform and indicate if you are a new or existing customer (those who already have the app installed) for instructions on adding the new code to your subscription. Best Practices for Lexicomp Mobile App Content Updates

The content in Lexicomp is updated on a daily basis. In order to ensure you are accessing the most current content, you should adjust your Lexicomp Mobile App content download preferences to ensure the content on your device is automatically updated. In such instances, Lexicomp mobile app content will be automatically updated when the mobile app is open and connected to WiFi, or when connected to WiFi and Data, depending on your settings.
Best Practice Tip: If you have enough data, adjust your settings so content is updated using WiFi and Data to ensure you are viewing the latest content when WiFi access is unavailable.
- With the mobile app open, tap the Hamburger Menu (three lines) located in the top right.

Clinical Mobile Apps

In a world where the Medical Library now lives in your hand with many Duke-provided mobile apps, let's make sure you know that:
- The Lexicomp app requires a subscription code (provided via Duke's institutional license). This code changes yearly. Make sure you go to Lexicomp, click on the Mobile App Access button, and follow their instructions to update your subscription code.
- If you are a new to Duke, you may need to let your existing UpToDate subscription lapse prior to setting up your account through the Duke.
- You can get CME/CE earned from UpToDate and DynaMed. These will fulfill MOC CME requirements of some ABMS Member Boards including the ABIM.
