Lexicomp is now known as Lexidrug™!
Lexidrug, through the UpToDate® suite of tools, is a collection of content sets and clinical tools that provide robust clinical drug information. The home screen provides you quick access to Lexidrug content via a global search or through their clinical tools. The blue clinical tool bar at the top of the database still connects you directly to individual clinical decision support tools such as Trissel's IV Compatability, Drug Identifier, Interactions, Calculators, and more. Best Practices for Lexicomp Mobile App Content Updates

The content in Lexicomp is updated on a daily basis. In order to ensure you are accessing the most current content, you should adjust your Lexicomp Mobile App content download preferences to ensure the content on your device is automatically updated. In such instances, Lexicomp mobile app content will be automatically updated when the mobile app is open and connected to WiFi, or when connected to WiFi and Data, depending on your settings.
Best Practice Tip: If you have enough data, adjust your settings so content is updated using WiFi and Data to ensure you are viewing the latest content when WiFi access is unavailable.
- With the mobile app open, tap the Hamburger Menu (three lines) located in the top right.
- Tap Preferences, then tap Settings.…

Johns Hopkins Antibiotic Guide Now Available!

We now provide access to the Johns Hopkins ABX (Antibiotic) Guide, an infectious disease resource intended for all healthcare personnel. The guide features frequently updated, evidence-based information on infectious diseases, including disease diagnosis; drug indications, dosing, pharmacokinetics, side effects, and interactions; pathogens; management; and vaccines.
The ABX Guide includes details of drug spectrum activity to target the right anti-infective agent at the right organism. Additionally, the ABX Guide offers annotated references with links out to articles so that clinicians can easily connect to and explore the evidence…

FDA’s Drug Master Files

Have you ever wondered where the ingredients in pharmaceuticals are manufactured? Updated quarterly, the FDA’s Drug Master Files (DMFs) contain information about manufacturing, processing, packaging, and storage of human drugs. Submission of a DMF is not required by law or FDA regulation. DMF files are available for download in Excel format. Click here for Guidelines about DMFs.
