Can you still use Duke Medical Center Library search boxes for looking up materials?
Yes, absolutely! The search boxes now link to the new Primo interface, but you can continue using our main website to search for materials as before.
Why did we switch systems?
Our previous system was aging and no longer met the needs of today’s research environment. Primo provides better search accuracy, smoother navigation, and stronger integration with your library account.
Will I still have access to online resources?
Yes. Your access to journals, databases, streaming media, and eBooks continues without interruption.
Will my current checkouts and requests transfer?
Yes. Your account information—including checkouts, holds, and requests—has carried over to the new system.
