Summer is right around the corner, and with it come a few updates to Library Service Desk and online chat hours. Our service desk and librarian chat hours will shorten during the summer months, so please plan ahead for your visits and book pickups.
Updated Hours for Desk and Online Chat Reference
- Starting June 1: Monday – Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Book Pickup and Checkout
- Please plan to pickup hold and interlibrary loan books during desk hours. Book pickups are not available outside desk hours.
- Self-checkout will be available for checking out materials in the level 1 reading room from our on-site collections from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
What About Study and Meeting Spaces?
- Building hours are not changing.
- The building will remain open 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with evening and weekend access for students and faculty of the School of Medicine, School of Nursing, and Watts College of Nursing, as well as Graduate Medical Education trainees with a valid DukeCard.
