📅 Library Closed for Juneteenth – Friday, June 19
In honor of Juneteenth, the Duke Medical Center Library & Archives will be closed on Friday, June 19. Building access is limited to School of Medicine students and faculty, School of Nursing students and faculty, Watts College of Nursing affiliates, and Graduate Medical Education trainees with a valid DukeCard.
Juneteenth commemorates the emancipation of enslaved African Americans and celebrates Black freedom, resilience, and achievement. We encourage our community to take time to reflect, learn, and engage meaningfully with the significance of this day.
