Temporary Electronic Resource Access Issues

You may notice intermittent access issues with some electronic library resources over the next few days. These disruptions are likely related to recent winter weather, which has affected internet and network services. Vendors and publishers are aware of reported outages and are actively working to resolve them.

If you encounter access problems, the steps below may help resolve issues more quickly:

  • Try a different browser or an incognito/private window, or clear your browser’s cache, history, and cookies.
  • When searching in PubMed, use the Get It @ Duke link rather than clicking directly through publisher websites. (Tip: always use the Library's version of PubMed: https://mclibrary.duke.edu/pubmed)
  • If you experience issues accessing databases through the A–Z list, please let the library know. In some cases, we can provide access through an alternate Duke Libraries version as a temporary workaround, though it may not include all custom features.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as these issues are addressed. If you have questions or continue to experience problems accessing library resources, please report an access issue to the library. We’re happy to help.
