Women in Duke Health Exhibit Revisited in March

In celebration of Women's History Month in March, Duke Medical Center Library & Archives revisits our online exhibit of Women in Duke Health. 

Highlighting women in multiple fields at Duke, many of which were pioneers or firsts in their disciplines, this exhibit looks at their stories and the context in which those stories took place. The primary method of inquiry for context in this exhibit was via oral histories, a unique format that allows for both.

The Medical Center Library & Archives announces the debut of the newly redesigned and updated online exhibit of the Duke Poison Control Center: A Retrospective Exhibit.

The exhibit conveys the profound impact of the Duke Poison Control Center from 1954-1995. From the design of the safety cap to community outreach and education, the Duke Center has always been at the forefront of poison prevention and safety issues, raising awareness throughout the world.

Duke Medical Center Archives Spotlight on Black History at Duke Health

With the events of the past year, it has probably become clichéd to say that “we are living in historic times”. However, as we celebrate Black History Month this year, the reality of systemic racism and injustice is forefront in many of our minds.
