New PubMed Interface to Launch in 2020

In early 2020, PubMed will launch its newly designed search interface

The Library will host a Webinar discussing the new interface features on Friday, January 24th from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.

New interface features include:

  • Ability to cite references quickly in your preferred citation style format (AMA, APA, NLM, or MLA);
  • Option to share references via social media or a permalink;
  • A seamless search experience on your mobile device;
  • Search results sorted by best match by default as opposed to the most...

Research Wednesdays

The Duke Office of Clinical Research (DOCR) and the Medical Center Library & Archives have partnered to bring this lunch series program to the Duke Research Community. "Research Wednesdays" feature topics that impact the research community presented by subject matter experts in each field. They are held the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month from 1:10–2:00 pm. REDCap Office Hours

REDCap (Research Electronic Data Capture) is a secure, Web-based application designed to support data capture. At Duke, this system is managed and supported by the Duke Office of Clinical Research (DOCR) Research Management Team (RMT), located in the School of Medicine. RMT provides research and data management support to investigators across Duke.

One-on-one assistance from DOCR programmers is available on a first-come, first-serve basis every Tuesday at 10a. No appointment is required.

MLK Holiday Hours

The Library will be CLOSED to the public on Monday, Jan. 20 in celebration of Martin Luther King Day.  24-hour card access will be available during this time to those with Duke Health Badges Only.  Regular hours will resume on Jan. 21, 2020.
